Free Run Wine Merchants is now hiring a full-time Assistant Warehouse Manager for our Baltimore facility. We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide support to management and our warehouse and delivery team, who shares our passion for customer service, positive work culture, and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

From everyday value to iconic estates both domestic and abroad, our portfolio is centered on authenticity, minimal intervention, sustainability, organic and biodynamic wines, ciders and spirits that truly represent the places and people who create them. Our Baltimore facility services wholesale customers throughout Maryland and Washington DC, while working alongside our Richmond VA-based operations and management teams.

An ideal candidate will consistently lead by example, be comfortable performing all aspects of warehouse work (whether independently or with a team), be efficient in running delivery routes, and willing to positively contribute in all aspects of the Baltimore facility’s operation. *Ability to regularly operate a motor vehicle, forklift, pallet jacks and handtrucks
*Forklift certification
*Ability to meet physical requirements: Periods of standing, sitting, walking and pushing/pulling a hand truck throughout the day. Repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory. Regular and repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds. Climbing of ladders and use of other warehouse equipment.
*Willingness to travel throughout the service area, and occasionally to Richmond for team meetings or inventory transfers

Any candidate must hold and maintain a valid state driver’s license and must be able to meet company vehicle insurance requirements. A clean driving record with positive points and zero DUI’s is required. A current copy of your driving record reflecting at least 3 years driving history will need to be provided. Must pass background and drug screenings.
