Harvest Cellar Hands

Nicolas-Jay

Newberg, OR

Apply

Job Description:

Nicolas-Jay is looking for four harvest interns to help with the upcoming 2026 Harvest. We focus on high-end Pinot noir and Chardonnay and are planning to process about 100 tons in 2026.

The story of Nicolas-Jay spans the more than three-decade friendship between our founders, Burgundian winemaker Jean-Nicolas Méo and music entrepreneur Jay Boberg. Their mutual love of Pinot Noir, and desire to create something lasting together, drew them to the North Willamette Valley. Our viticulture and winemaking are informed by years of working the soils of Burgundy’s Grand Crus, an understanding we bring to old-vine sites in Oregon, including our own organically farmed estate Bishop Creek vineyard, as well as our 53-acre Dundee Hills Estate.

Our newly built winery is located in the picturesque north side of the Dundee Hills AVA. We work extremely hard as a team and reward our work with daily, chef prepared meals, generous sharing of our wine cellar, and ample time dedicating to teaching/learning the craft of making high-end wine.

Previous experience is encouraged but by no means required.
