We’re seeking a Brand Ambassador/Tasting Room Specialist for our new Woodinville tasting room—this position is a hybrid leadership role, with approximately 60% focus on wholesale operations and 40% dedicated to Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Tasting Room experiences. Key responsibilities will be to build wholesale growth, managing accounts, and supporting distribution strategy, while also leading exceptional guest experiences, wine club engagement, and daily tasting room operations.
What You’ll Do:
Actively develop and grow wholesale accounts by building relationships with local restaurants, retailers, and hospitality partners in the Woodinville and greater Seattle market
Represent Whitman Hill in the community, through tastings and events to expand brand awareness and distribution
Oversee tasting room operations including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, order fulfillment, and cleanliness standards
Share Whitman Hill’s story, estate wines, and membership offerings with confidence, authenticity, and enthusiasm
Elevate the overall tasting room experience, ensuring every guest interaction is engaging, personalized, and memorable
Encourage membership growth and retention
Collaborate on and execute winery events, including member releases and private events
Create on-brand social media content that reflects the Woodinville experience
Manage reservations, guest communications, and POS transactions with professionalism and accuracy
Who You Are:
A strong communicator with polished sales skills and the ability to connect authentically with both guests and trade partners
Have a passion for hospitality, wine, and creating exceptional guest experiences
Experienced in tasting room, hospitality, retail, and wine sales management (wholesale or distribution experience a plus)
Comfortable with business development and account management, including outreach and relationship building
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Tech-savvy, with experience using POS systems and reservation platforms
Familiar with social media platforms and capable of creating engaging content
Flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, and events
Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Have own reliable transportation
Brings positive energy, professionalism, and a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality every day
