Tasting Room Associate/Brand Ambassador
Your role as a Tasting Room Associate is to provide exceptional hospitality by welcoming and educating guests about wines, guiding them through our tasting experiences and driving sales of wine and club memberships all while maintaining the tasting room’s appearance, handling POS transactions and supporting daily operations. You are brand ambassadors focused on creating memorable, educational experiences that build customer loyalty and meet sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience: Greet visitors, pour tastings, educate guests on winery history, wine varietals and our growing practices and production.
Sales & Wine Club: Actively sell wine, upsell and recruit new wine club members, meeting specific goals.
Operations: Handle Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions, manage inventory, stocking wines, and assist with opening/closing duties.
Maintenance: Keep the tasting room, bar, and retail areas clean, organized, and appealing.
Event Support: Assist with setup and breakdown for special events and private tastings.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Strong customer service & communication skills.
Passion for wine and desire to learn.
Sales-driven attitude with good closing skills.
Ability to work weekends and handle physical tasks.
Familiarity with POS systems and computers.
