Company Overview: Handwritten Wines, nestled in the heart of Yountville, California, is a boutique winery dedicated to celebrating the art of craftsmanship. Established in 2009, we honor the winemaking process, emphasizing that just as each person's handwriting is unique, so is each wine and vintage.

Position Summary: We seek a passionate and personable Tasting Room Host to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional guest experiences, guiding visitors through our curated tastings, and conveying the story and philosophy behind our handcrafted wines.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct engaging, informative wine tastings that share the unique narratives of our wines and the craftsmanship behind them.
Educate guests about our wine portfolio, vineyard sourcing, and the significance of our small-lot production.
Meet monthly sales and membership conversion goals.
Manage reservations and walk-in guests to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.
Assist in the organization and execution of special events and member-exclusive gatherings.

Things We Need from You:
Ability to lift, carry, and move cases of wine, 50-60 lbs.
Move between tastings, including standing and walking for extended periods
Previous experience in hospitality, wine service, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings, with flexible hours as needed.
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
