Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to support both our sales efforts and day-to-day wine production activities. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across both the hospitality and production sides of a winery; you’ll be engaging with guests while also contributing behind the scenes in the cellar.
We are a 40-acre vineyard and winery located on Seneca Lake in upstate New York. We farm with regenerative practices and thoughtful, low-intervention winemaking. Our team is small, you will learn every aspect of our production, from grape to purchase.
Dates: July 1, 2026 to early November 2026
Saturdays and Sundays required, other days flexible
$18/hour plus tips
Location: On-site at our facility in Hector, New York
Must be able to work in the United States
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Hospitality
• Provide a welcoming, knowledgeable, and memorable tasting experience for guests
• Guide visitors through wine selections, encouraging sales through thoughtful recommendations
• Assist with retail sales, wine club sign-ups, and order fulfillment
• Support on-site events and large group experiences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting space
Wine Production Support
• Assist with seasonal cellar and vineyard work including scouting in the vine rows, harvest, crush, fermentation, sparkling wine management
• Help maintain cellar organization
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
• Assist winemaking team with general production tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Interest in both wine production and customer experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and shift between front-of-house and cellar environments
• Willingness to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing for extended periods, working in varying conditions)
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Previous winery, hospitality, or agricultural experience is a plus but not required
