Overview
A small group of producers based in Santa Barbara County (Demetria Estate, Roark Wine Co., Jarnit Family Wines) are seeking an experienced wine sales rep to manage and grow sales primarily in the Los Angeles area. This person will focus the majority of their energy establishing and maintaining on-premises accounts and select retailers. The ideal candidate will already have established relationships in the territory.


Classification
Under California law this position will be categorized as a W2 employee and will spend most of their time in the field developing and maintaining account relationships.


Key Responsibilities
Grow and maintain relationships with primarily on-premise accounts. Assist with delivery logistics, billing and receivables. Serve as a genuine ambassador of the wines and owners. Conduct events in the market to grow and develop the brands and drive direct sales traffic to the individual producers.


Qualifications
An ideal candidate would have at least a few years of experience in wine sales and a roster of active accounts in the LA area. However, what we need most is someone who is excited about our wines and willing to pound the pavement and help us grow sales.
Good communication skills as well as the ability to manage oneself are necessary.


Compensation
This is a commission only position. Commission rate as well as reimbursements will to be agreed upon during the hiring process.
