Rack & Riddle Custom Wine Services, the #1 custom sparkling wine producer in the United States, is seeking to add a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Support to our team.


The Delivery Driver – Warehouse & Logistics is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries while supporting warehouse operations as needed. This role ensures materials and finished goods are transported accurately and safely, documentation is completed correctly, and inventory transactions are processed in the warehouse management system. The position requires a strong focus on safety, organization, and professional customer interaction.

 
Essential Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles, including box trucks and forklifts, in compliance with all applicable traffic laws and company safety policies.
Follow assigned schedules for pickups and deliveries; complete ad hoc transportation requests as needed.
Communicate regularly with the Logistics Manager regarding schedules, delays, or issues.
Load, unload, secure, and properly balance cargo within the vehicle.
Verify loads for accuracy against bills of lading, packing slips, and other documentation; audit for visible damage.
Prepare and obtain required shipping documentation, including receipts, material transfer orders, and packing slips.
Use warehouse management system (WMS) to process inventory movements and transactions accurately.
Inspect vehicle before and after each shift; promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
Perform routine vehicle care, including fueling, cleaning, and minor service tasks.
Safely operate forklift and/or pallet jack to load and unload materials.
Interact with customers and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
Serve as backup for warehouse drivers and assist with general warehouse support as needed.
Assist with year-end physical inventory counts.
Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.
Other tasks, in any department, as assigned by Management.


Requirements

The successful candidate’s background includes:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
Valid Class A or Class B CDL required.
Documented safe driving record.
Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks; certification preferred.
Ability to lift and move materials in accordance with warehouse safety guidelines.
Comfortable using inventory or warehouse management systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
