The Role
We are looking for a driven and personable Outside Sales Representative to build and nurture relationships across the fine wine market. This is a relationship-first sales position, your network, your palate, and your ability to connect with collectors and enthusiasts will be the foundation of your success.
As an Outside Sales Rep, you will represent both the Spectrum Wine and Wine Exchange brands, introducing clients to our full suite of offerings, from curated retail selections and auction consignment to fine wine storage and our global marketplace. This is a commission-based role with the flexibility to work remotely, in a hybrid capacity, on the road or here at our offices; whatever serves our clients best.

Compensation
This is a commission-based opportunity with a compensation structure designed to match the individual. we will work with the right person to craft a package that reflects their experience, relationships, and earning potential.

What You’ll Do
•  Develop and manage a portfolio of client relationships across the fine and rare wine market.
•  Represent Spectrum Wine and Wine Exchange at tastings, events, dinners, and industry functions to build brand awareness and generate new business
•  Identify prospective clients and cultivate long-term partnerships through consultative, relationship-driven selling
•  Collaborate with internal teams, including buying, auction, storage, and marketing, to deliver tailored solutions for each client
•  Stay current on market trends and conditions to provide informed recommendations and add value to every client interaction
•  Track pipeline activity, client communications, and sales progress to ensure consistent follow-through and growth

What We’re Looking For
•  Working knowledge of fine wine & spirits, including familiarity with major regions, producers, and vintages in the space
•  Demonstrated experience in or alongside the fine wine market, whether in sales, wholesale, distribution, retail, hospitality, or a related role
•  A relationship-driven approach to sales, with a strong existing network or the ability to build one quickly
•  Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with casual wine buyers, high-net-worth individuals, sommeliers, and trade professionals alike
•  Passion for wine & spirits and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing it with others

Nice to Have
•  WSET, CMS, or equivalent wine certification
•  Experience with auction, consignment, or secondary-market wine sales
•  Familiarity with CRM platforms and pipeline management tools
•  Existing book of business or established client relationships in the wine industry
