An established, ultra-premium Napa Valley winery is seeking a Hospitality Manager to lead and elevate its private, appointment-only guest experience program.
This highly regarded estate produces limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley’s most iconic vineyard sites, including Beckstoffer-designated vineyards, and has earned multiple placements in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines along with 100-point critical acclaim.
Part of an internationally recognized luxury wine portfolio, the estate is known for its highly personalized hospitality model, collector-driven clientele, and uncompromising standards across wine, service, and experience.
Position Summary
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing daily hospitality operations while driving sales performance, membership growth, and client engagement through elevated, relationship-driven experiences.
The Hospitality Manager will serve as a key cultural and operational leader, working cross-functionally with executive leadership, membership, events, and sales teams to execute a best-in-class hospitality program.
Key Responsibilities
Hospitality Program Leadership
• Develop and execute a world-class hospitality program that drives sales, traffic, and retention
• Lead daily tasting room operations and guest experiences in a private, appointment-only environment
• Uphold and refine SOPs for all hospitality and service procedures
• Partner with leadership to continuously elevate positioning as a top-tier Napa Valley destination
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings to align team on guest expectations and service execution
• Collaborate across departments to manage reservations, guest flow, and staffing alignment
• Develop and implement structured client follow-up and outbound sales programs
Tasting Room Operations & Guest Experience
• Oversee all daily operations including opening/closing procedures, reservations, and service execution
• Personally host VIP guests and cultivate high-value relationships
• Ensure seamless, personalized experiences that drive membership conversion and sales growth
• Maintain tasting menus, collateral, and all guest-facing materials
• Monitor and respond to guest communications across multiple channels (email, phone, CRM platforms)
• Collaborate with culinary and events teams to execute elevated food & wine experiences

Membership & Client Development
• Serve as a key point of contact for top-tier members and VIP clients
• Drive membership acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies
• Oversee guest research, profiling, and pre-/post-visit outreach
• Support concierge-level service and personalized communication
• Represent the estate at select offsite events and client activations
Sales & Financial Performance
• Contribute to overall team revenue goals, with meaningful individual impact
• Drive performance across:
o Club conversion
o Sales per guest
o Net revenue
o Data capture and CRM utilization
• Develop and manage monthly sales goals, incentives, and team performance programs
• Track KPIs and provide weekly/monthly reporting to leadership
• Support budgeting, cost controls (labor, COGS), and profitability targets
Operations & Facilities
• Oversee maintenance and presentation of all guest-facing spaces
• Ensure hospitality spaces reflect a luxury, story-driven environment
• Manage inventory, supplies, and operational readiness
• Assist in the development of gifting, merchandise, and experiential enhancements
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing hospitality team
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration
• Conduct hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
• Provide regular feedback, coaching, and annual performance reviews
• Serve as an escalation point for guest and team issues with professionalism and care
• Lead by example in both sales performance and hospitality execution
Outreach & Strategic Partnerships
• Build relationships with luxury hotels, restaurants, concierges, and transportation partners
• Develop referral networks and collaborative experiences
• Support outbound sales campaigns and relationship-driven business development
Qualifications
• 5+ years in luxury hospitality, wine, or high-end client-facing environments
• Proven success in driving sales and membership growth
• Strong leadership and team development experience
• Exceptional communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Experience with CRM/POS systems (Commerce7 or similar preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, high-expectation environment
• Must be 21+ years of age
