Creative Manager
HALL Family Wines is seeking a Creative Manager to lead the visual and creative expression of four distinctive Napa Valley wine brands—HALL, WALT, BACA, and Michel Foch. This role blends creative leadership with hands-on design execution, shaping how our brands appear across digital, print, and in-person experiences.
The Creative Manager leads the development of brand storytelling through print, video, and digital channels. This includes overseeing messaging, copy, content, art direction, design, and brand style guides across all phases of creative development. The role helps define the overall look and feel of the brands by establishing creative concepts and providing direction that supports strategic marketing objectives.

This is a highly hands-on role requiring both strategic creative leadership and direct design execution across multiple marketing channels. The position reports to and partners closely with the Director of Marketing. The position has no direct reports.

Job Summary
•  Develop and lead the execution of creative programs and design deliverables that support business objectives and advance brand strategy
•  Manage multiple creative projects across print, digital, and video from concept through final production
•  Execute seasonal website updates and landing page creation
•  Lead photography direction and production for marketing channels including digital and print
•  Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, social media, advertising, and email teams, event and tasting room teams, and Wine Club Managers to develop effective creative aligned with brand standards
•  Partner with cross-functional teams to develop creative materials including point-of-purchase displays, reference materials, outbound communications, and marketing collateral
•  Direct graphic designers, freelancers, and creative partners through all stages of development—from concept through final production across web assets, video, email, and social media
•  Inspire the creative team and external partners to consistently produce high-quality work
•  Provide quality control and brand oversight across all creative concepts and project
•  Manage relationships with print vendors and oversee production processes when required
•  Stay informed on industry trends and the competitive landscape to help evolve brand presentation
•  Support additional creative initiatives as required by management


Qualifications
•  5+ years of professional graphic design and art direction experience
•  Strong creative background with demonstrated experience developing marketing-driven design and content
•  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•  Experience managing creative budgets and production expenses
•  Knowledge of offset and digital printing technologies
•  Experience working with print vendors and conducting press checks
•  Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator; Premiere a plus)
•  Proficiency in presentation design (PowerPoint)
•  Ability to conceptualize and storyboard creative ideas
•  Experience directing, producing, or editing video a plus
•  Basic proficiency in HTML and HTML animation a plus
•  Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
•  Ability to anticipate and manage production timelines and processes
•  Collaborative mindset with the flexibility to work across departments and projects
•  Appreciation for wine and wine culture
•  Experience working with luxury or lifestyle brands preferred
•  This role resides in our Downtown Napa office

Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio demonstrating design expertise, brand development, and creative leadership is required.

Compensation & Benefits:
