Job Description:

Gleason Family Vineyards is a family owned and operated company. We produce estate grown wines for two brands, Roblar and Refugio Ranch, and work with Bordeaux, Burgundian, and Rhone varietals. This position is for a seasonal cellar hand who has a strong work ethic, pays close attention to detail, and wants to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment. We never lose sight of our objective, which is to create exceptional products and engage in each step of the winemaking process completely.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Vineyard sampling and analysis
Receiving and processing fruit
Basic lab analysis
Fermentation management
Inoculations and additions
Barrel work
Cellar operations
Equipment sanitization and facility cleaning

Previous winery experience and forklift proficiency is preferred, but not required. This position requires the ability to lift/move/carry up to 50 lbs, as well as the ability to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, and perform job duties in all weather.

Candidates must be available to start on August 31st and work through mid-November with overtime and weekend work expected. Hourly pay for this position is $18-20, depending on experience.
