Job Description:

Position Summary

Boisset Collection is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Assistant to support the fast-growing Navigator Wine Collection. This role is critical to ensuring accurate wine tracking, inventory management, and smooth logistics coordination across multiple bottling and storage facilities.

You'll work closely with winemaking and production teams, serving as a key point of contact for inventory accuracy, shipping coordination, and timeline execution.

Key Responsibilities
•  Maintain and manage wine tracking systems, including daily entries, wine movements, and bottling updates
•  Perform end-of-month bulk wine reconciliations across storage and bottling facilities
•  Enter and manage bulk wine contracts in tracking software (InnoVint preferred)
•  Coordinate logistics and transportation for bulk wine shipments, blends, and bottlings
•  Partner with winemaking and production teams to ensure on-time deliveries and bottling schedules
•  Maintain and organize bulk wine sample library, including travel to facilities for sample collection
•  Communicate with winemakers and vendors to track purchases, payments, and deliveries
•  Create and manage purchase orders (POs)
•  Attend bottling runs as needed to support quality control efforts
•  Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
•  Support team projects and take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
•  2-4 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or wine industry operations OR equivalent education/experience
•  Associate's degree or technical training preferred
•  Experience with wine tracking software (InnoVint highly preferred)
•  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
•  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•  Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•  Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
•  Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Additional Requirements
•  Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance
•  Ability to travel locally (Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, San Joaquin counties)
•  Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform light to moderate physical tasks

Work Environment
•  Combination of office, winery, and outdoor environments
•  Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and production settings
•  PPE provided as required

Schedule
•  Monday-Friday business hours
•  Overtime as needed
