Stone Edge Farm is seeking two Harvest Interns to join our winemaking team for the 2026 harvest season.
Stone Edge Farm is a small, premier producer of Bordeaux-varietal wines located in Sonoma, California. Our grapes are organically farmed in Sonoma Valley and the Moon Mountain District. Our winemaking philosophy centers around crafting balanced wines that pair harmoniously with food—wines that are expressive of terroir, enjoyable when young, and capable of gaining subtlety and softness with age.

We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about wine and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic harvest environment. As part of our mission, we strive to create a collaborative and educational environment where interns can learn all aspects of harvest winemaking.
Harvest Responsibilities
• Fruit sampling and vineyard maturity monitoring
• Grape processing and fermentation management
• Pump-overs and punch-downs
• Juice and wine movements
• Barrel work and topping
• Lab work and fermentation tracking
• Additions and winery record keeping
• Sanitation of winery equipment and facilities
• Travel to various vineyard properties
• General cellar operations and cleaning
Internship Duration
Mid-August through mid-November 2026
Qualifications
• Ability to work safely and responsibly in a cellar environment
• Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team-oriented workplace
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to stand and work for extended periods of time
• Reliable transportation to and from the winery
• Studies in Viticulture, Enology, or related sciences preferred
• Previous winery or harvest experience strongly preferred but not required
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation
• $25/hour
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Must be willing to relocate to surrounding areas
• $500 monthly housing stipend
