Napa-based Vineyard Management company is seeking a Vineyard Assistant to support their vineyard management team. Candidates must be highly motivated with a strong desire to learn hands-on vineyard management and viticulture operations, work efficiently, and be a part of a high energy team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and overtime.

This opportunity is ideal for a hard-working individual who is looking to work in both aspects of vineyard management and viticulture in production of premium wine grapes.
Work activities include, but are not limited to:

•  Pest and disease scouting
•  Spray Program assistance
•  Leaf sampling for nutritional testing
•  Nutrient Program assistance
•  Maturity sampling and processing
•  Harvest assistance
•  Virus sampling and assessments
•  Vine counts and mapping assistance
•  Fish Friendly Farming/CCOF/Waterboard Compliance
•  Vineyard management and development assistance
•  Data entry and analysis

Job Requirements:
•  No college degree required
•  Prior experience in farming or ranching environments
•  Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record – extensive driving of a company vehicle
•  Ability to lift 50 pounds
•  Strong work ethic and reliability
•  Basic equipment operation and mechanical skills are a plus
•  Ability to work outside, in uneven terrain, and in various weather conditions
•  Punctual, hardworking, and eager to join an exciting vineyard management team
