Gary Farrell Winery has spent more than four decades exploring the ridgelines and vineyards of the Russian River Valley in pursuit of exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. We’re looking for a Hospitality Greeter to help bring that experience to life.

This role is the first point of contact for our guests and plays an essential role in setting the tone for a warm, polished, and seamless visit. The Hospitality Greeter operates the front desk, welcomes and checks in guests, and supports the hospitality team to ensure every experience reflects the Gary Farrell standard.

This is a highly visible, guest-facing role within a collaborative team. The Hospitality Greeter ensures that each guest interaction starts—and continues—with care, clarity, and attention to detail.

*To clarify, this is primarily a customer service role—not a wine educator or selling position.*

WHAT YOU’LL DO
•  Welcome guests upon arrival with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of hospitality
•  Manage the front desk, including guest check-in and directing visitors to the appropriate host or experience
•  Answer incoming calls and respond to voicemails, texts, and email inquiries in a timely and polished manner
•  Assist with reservation bookings, confirmations, and general guest questions
•  Support the tasting room team with administrative and operational tasks as needed
•  Maintain the flow and organization of the hospitality space, ensuring a seamless guest experience
•  Clear and reset tables between experiences; assist with glassware washing and polishing as needed
•  Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the hospitality areas throughout the day

WHAT YOU BRING
•  Passion for wine and delivering exceptional guest experiences
•  Prior hospitality, customer service, or guest-facing experience preferred
•  Strong communication skills, both in person and via phone/email
•  Comfort with technology and ability to learn systems quickly (experience with Tock, RedChirp, and Commerce7 a plus)
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks required in a hospitality setting
•  Must be 21+ years of age and hold a valid driver’s license

COMPENSATION & LOCATION
•  Hourly Rate: $20–$22 per hour
•  Part-time, non-exempt role (3 days / 21–24 hours per week)
•  Ability to work weekends and holidays
•  Onsite role based in Healdsburg, CA

The hourly range reflects the company’s good-faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this position upon hire. Placement within the range depends on experience and qualifications, and compensation growth opportunities may be available based on performance within the role.
