We are a small family operated winery located in the heart of Alexander Valley. We are looking for someone to join our tasting room team who loves working with the public and has a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates are motivated self-starters and team players who will proudly represent the quality of Trentadue wines.

Oversees daily activities of Tasting Room. Accurately handle routine purchasing transactions, which include operating cash register, accounting of daily sales, processing returns, discounts, entering in new membership data, and bank deposits. Performs all duties associated with position Tasting Room Host/Hostess. Conducts public tours, VIP tours, and Gondola Tours. Describes wines, winemaking techniques, winery history and provides general tourist information, while providing excellent customer service and hospitality to create an exceptional guest experience. Assist with hospitality special events as needed. Represents winery at outside functions as needed. Acts as customer service representative handling customer complaints and returns. Participate & lead activities that foster a cohesive & productive team environment. Provides work leadership to others through assignment of work. Responsible for DTC wine sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Must maintain a constant and high-profile image for the guests in the Tasting Room. Responsible for daily appearance of the Tasting Room.
o Develop new business referrals through outreach efforts to local hotels & restaurants. Schedule outside tastings with concierge at local hotels and inn’s, fostering and growing existing and new partnerships.
o Responding to emails and voicemails daily, including the tasting room email.
o Open/close duties. Daily banking and cash balancing. Daily sales reporting. Record & process daily wine pours. Check safe and make change every Friday for the weekend.
o Keep tasting room merchandise stocked.
o Develop & participate in ongoing wine education for Tasting Room staff.
o Employee sales training. Educate staff on new wines, current sales, etc. Motivate sales and record sales goals. Special projects assigned by DTC & Wine Club Manager.
o Assist in shipping fulfillment for ecommerce, Tasting Room, and wine club orders by managing Ship Manager in C7 daily. This includes weather holds.
o Revenue Generation: Achieve a targeted increase in Tasting Room sales and wine club conversion. Understand and meet daily and monthly sales goals.
o Responsible for staff to take lunches and breaks as needed daily.
o Manage Inventory weekly.
o Responsible for monthly inventory count.
o Representing Trentadue in the Taste Destination 128 group- this includes off-site pouring's, and monthly meetings with this group.
o Manage charcuterie needs on a weekly basis.
o Manage shipping supplies on a weekly basis.
o Assist in daily management of Tasting Reservations in Tock.

QUALIFICATIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
A Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day performance of a small group. It may be a team, or a shift. The supervisor’s job is to guide the group toward its goals, see that all members of the team are productive, and resolve problems as they arise.

•  At least 5 years’ experience in Wine Retail and/or Club Management (or equivalent) desired; exceptional, similar experience from outside the wine business welcome.
•  Proficient in Commerce7, Outlook, Gmail, Tock, Red Chirp, Word, Excel, Internet. Canva and Mailchimp a plus.
•  Self-starter, clear communicator, positive team player, multi-tasker, highly organized.
•  Effective salesperson.
•  Friendly and flexible attitude.
•  Wine knowledgeable.
•  Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
•  Has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, have a high attention to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.

SCHEDULE: Thursday through Monday schedule (Off Tuesdays and Wednesdays) preferred but open to Tuesday-Saturday. Must be available to work Holidays, weekends, and occasional evenings.
