This position is with a local family owned winery located in St. Helena.

Position Summary

The Personal Assistant & Housekeeper provides reliable household support, light cooking, and essential administrative assistance to ensure the smooth, organized operation of a private residence. This role requires strong organizational skills, comfort with technology, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks with discretion, professionalism, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities

Household Management & Housekeeping
•  Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-organized home environment
•  Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitizing
•  Manage laundry, linens, and wardrobe organization
•  Keep household spaces tidy and functional, ensuring clutter-free areas

Light Cooking & Meal Support
•  Prepare simple, healthy meals or assist with meal prep
•  Maintain a clean and organized kitchen before and after food preparation
•  Follow dietary preferences or instructions provided

Administrative & Personal Assistance
•  Provide basic administrative support such as scheduling, email organization, and document management
•  Use a computer confidently for tasks such as online ordering, filing, research, and communication
•  Assist with household planning, vendor coordination, and appointment reminders
•  Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care

Organization & Household Systems
•  Create and maintain organizational systems for household items, documents, and supplies
•  Support household routines, calendars, and task lists
•  Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and order within the home

Qualifications
•  Experience in housekeeping, personal assistance, or similar roles
•  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•  Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
•  Proficiency with computers, email, and basic office software
•  Trustworthy, discreet, and reliable
•  Strong communication skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude
