POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager will contribute to the winery’s consumer-direct marketing initiatives through a variety of marketing activities, including designing, implementing promotional campaigns, content and collateral development, and online advertising while maintaining a consistent brand voice and design standards. In addition, this position will be responsible for digital content development for web, social media, email campaigns and multi-channel digital advertising. Regular responsibilities include the planning, coordination, and creation or acquisition of engaging content developed for consumer-direct channels. Types of content may include editorial copy, photography, video, digital campaign deliverables, desktop publishing and Point of Sale materials. The suitable candidate will support the Winery’s Visitor Center and Tasting Room through the development and coordination of marketing initiatives.

The anticipated pay range for this position is between $75,000.00 and $85,000.00 per year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•  Develops effective advertising, communications and programming to attract qualified consumers to the tasting rooms and DTC channels.
•  Collaborate with the Director of Consumer Sales and Marketing and the Wine Club E-Commerce Mgr. on the development and execution of all POS pieces, website content, social media content and platforms, press kits, editorial and digital advertisements, tech cards, newsletters, direct mail, promotional materials, brochures, flyers, shipment collateral, email campaigns, and menus.
•  Responsible for maintaining, editing and managing winery website content.
•  Oversee maintenance of the quality, format and structure of all documents posted on the website.
•  Coordinates the process of adding and updating information and monitors, analyzes and verifies data to ensure data integrity.
•  Collaborates with management to update product and department-related announcements and activities.
•  Responsible for the development of all Social Media photo/video content for marketing collateral use.
•  Manages all corporate social media accounts including drafting copy and responses to social media posts.
•  Efficiently develops, formats, and produces clean, compliant, and engaging content to support Direct to Consumer marketing initiatives.
•  Collaborates on the strategies and execution of monthly multi-channel promotional campaigns.
•  Maintains brand standards and message consistency throughout all marketing materials.
•  Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of Sequoia Grove Winery and its wines.
•  Fully supports the Winery’s policies and procedures.
•  Fully supports Winery’s commitment to established safety practices and policies.
•  Responsible for compliance with Winery’s sustainability policies and practices which are economically viable, socially acceptable, environmentally sound and support conservation, energy efficiency and recycling.
•  Special projects/promotions and other responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
•  BA in Design, Marketing, Communications, a related field, or equivalent experience
•  3 - 5 years related work experience
•  Excellent verbal, writing and editorial skills
•  High attention to accuracy, organized and detail oriented, with strong proofing skills required.
•  General knowledge of direct marketing and social media best practices
•  Strong photography and/or videography skills a plus (iPhone or otherwise)
•  Competent with Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Video editing software, Office 365, Google products
•  Experience with analytic and reporting software
•  Self-driven and able to take projects from concept to completion
•  Able to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple projects in an efficient manner
•  Wine industry experiences a plus
•  Flexibility of schedule to meet operational needs occasionally (weekends, evenings, remotely and/or holidays)
•  Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
