Rack & Riddle Custom Wine Services, the #1 custom sparkling wine producer in the United States, is seeking to add an Advanced Line Tech to our team.  

The responsibilities will include but are not limited to all phases of bottling line work from set up to clean up on any of our production lines (Charmant, Tirage, Disgorging, and Still). This position will operate under limited supervision performing production tasks.  

Essential Responsibilities 
 
Operate and respond to error codes on all bottling line equipment such as the Filler, Corker, Screwcapper, Laser Etcher, Bottle Warmer, Crimper/Pleater, Labeler, Inspection systems, Case Packer, Case Sealer, Palletizer, Depalletizer, Disgorger, Wirehooder, Shaker, Bottle Washer, Neck Freezer, Monoblock and Foiler. 
Operates CIP system for startup and shutdown programs, sets programs on MBF filler for production and CIP, hand sanitizes return lines and tank. 
Participates in set-up, changeover, and cleanup of the bottling lines.
Rotates between various functions on the bottling line including those generally done by the General Line Techs and Skilled Line Techs; glass dumping, bottle/label inspection, hand packing and stacking, hand casing and uncasing, transferring bottles from bins to cages. 
Assists Maintenance and QC with line set up and troubleshooting.
Provides leadership and training to less skilled employees.
Acts as line lead when lead is otherwise unavailable.
Diligently adheres to all safety practices, SOP’s and company policies.
Promotes teamwork.
Assists with all facility clean-up activities as needed.  
Uses downtime to proactively clean-up or assist other team members. 
Supports other departments (Cellar, Warehouse, ect.) as needed and assigned by Management. 
Other tasks, on any production line, as assigned by Management. 



The successful candidate’s background includes: 

Previous experience on a bottling line, 3+ years.
Basic math skills required.
Previous experience with labeler and production machinery required.
Forklift experience preferred but not required.
Must be punctual and maintain good attendance.
Ability to learn and adapt to changing conditions.
Ability to work safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment is required.
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and work at catwalk heights of 25 feet.
Must be able to overtime as needed. Occasional nights and/or weekends included.
Ability to read and understand error messages on machinery.
Hours: Full Time (plus overtime).
Ability to work individually and within team to achieve daily production goals.
