Harvest Cellar Hand – Lynmar Estate Winery

We are seeking one more team member to join our 2026 harvest crew. Due to timing
constraints, we are unable to sponsor visas or assist with work authorization applications for this position. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States.
Opportunity for the right candidate to extend the position through the beginning of the year.
Lynmar Estate is a family-owned winery in the Russian River Valley producing small lot, ultra-premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on our 45-acre estate.
We are seeking a Harvest Cellar Hand to join our team for the 2026 vintage. You’ll work directly with a small winemaking team and be hands on in every aspect of harvest.
Responsibilities include:
• Winery and crush pad preparation
• Grape receiving and processing
• Fermentation management, punchdowns, and pumpovers
• Juice and wine additions
• Press operation and barrel work
• General cellar work and sanitation (yes, a lot of cleaning)
There may also be opportunities to assist our in house lab with fermentation monitoring, vineyard sampling and grape sample processing, and basic juice/wine analysis as time allows.
Qualifications
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work long hours and up to 6 days/week during peak harvest
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Forklift experience a plus but not required
We do our best to keep everyone fueled with snacks and several lunches. We usually have music going in the cellar, and the aux cord occasionally makes the rounds.
Pay: $22 – $24/hr DOE
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have reliable transportation.
