We are seeking a strategic and driven Brand Manager to lead brand growth with a strong emphasis on trade marketing. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies and annual brand plans that drive performance across wholesale, trade, and consumer channels.
The Brand Manager will play a key role in defining and evolving brand architecture, brand DNA, and positioning while crafting compelling brand stories that resonate with both trade partners and consumers. In close collaboration with the Director of Marketing and cross-functional teams, this individual will translate brand strategy into impactful marketing programs that strengthen brand presence and accelerate growth.

Essential Job Responsibilities Include:

Marketing Planning, Development and Execution
•  Own brand guidelines and standards
•  Execute, develop and refine brand positioning, product strategy, brand tonality, aesthetic and styling
•  In conjunction with Director of Marketing, development, alignment, and presentation of annual marketing plan for key brands across all channels.
•  Lead creative development of POS and merchandising tools
•  In close association with sales team, lead all merchandising programs, including serving as the primary point of contact with merchandising agencies and undertaking all planning, development and execution of programs
•  Assist with execution of in-market consumer and customer events
•  Consumer targeting & understanding
•  Maintain central retail/on-sale programming and activation calendar
•  Campaign/program development for key brands
•  Promotional partner lead; collaboration & program execution Own brand guidelines and standards
•  Ability to create and manage 360° marketing programs
•  Develop and refine brand positioning, product strategy, brand tonality, aesthetic and styling
•  Responsible for maintaining and creating all point-of-sales materials
• 

Digital Marketing
•  Oversee asset management on our website and partner websites
•  Update websites with web development
•  Oversight of website updates/changes
•  Social Media oversight
•  Assist with e-sends as needed

Experience, skills and education:
•  Bachelor's degree and 5 years of CPG brand marketing experience (experience within Alcoholic Beverage industry a plus)
•  Strong Microsoft Office skillset including proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word
•  Experience with Graphic Design software a plus (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Canva)
•  Ability to present to sales team.
•  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
•  Strong business acumen with excellent writing skills

Location & Travel:
This is a Hybrid or Remote position. Candidate should be based in California.
Hours: Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm, some weekends may apply
Limited local and longer-distance domestic travel will be required.
Compensation: The expected starting salary range for this role is $90,000-$100,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
