Wilson Artisan Wineries is dedicated to crafting and selling ultra-premium, boutique wines sourced fruit farmed throughout Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional wines and outstanding customer experiences. We’re looking for a friendly, sales focused Telesales Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll be will be responsible for meeting or exceeding yearly, quarterly, and monthly sales goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Telesales Representative will work independently to plan and execute their sales strategy in order to meet or exceed all sales goals. They will identify sales opportunities from historical customer sales data, as well as generate new leads and build strong customer relationships. Will perform other duties as assigned.

-Call customers from winery databases and lists provided.
-Send Promotional RedChirps and process corresponding sales.
-Answer incoming calls to the tasting room.
-Sell additional product by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts.
-Maintain the accuracy of customer databases by continuously entering information as indicated.
-Create strategic plans to maximize sales opportunities.
-Mine customer data to identify specific opportunities for selling wine.
-Develop group sales emails promoting specific wines.
-Build relationships with customers by hosting tastings of high value clients and being available to meet in-person customers that request to meet.
-Communicates in a knowledgeable, professional and gracious manner.
-Shares appropriate information and educates customers about the wines, brand history, wineries, and lodging properties.
-Promotes the sale of wine products, pursues sales opportunities, and encourages customers to buy wines and join the wine club.
-Accurately completes reports.
-Demonstrates personal accountability by following all company policies and procedures.
-Work with DTC Sales Managers to identify customers for specific wines from existing winery database and product lists.
-Accurately track and report to DTC Sales Managers regarding sales conversion rates and inventory depletions.
-Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements
-Must be at least 21 years of age.
-Must possess a minimum of one year of a proven, successful track record of telephone and email sales results.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and confidently with customers.
-Able to set and achieve goals.
-Self-directed and able to work independently as well as part of a cohesive and driven team.
-Able to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
-Able to create and execute sales campaigns.
-Able to provide excellent customer service at all times.
-Able to positively represent Wilson Artisan Wineries at off-site events as directed.
-Highly organized and detail oriented.
-Able to proactively ask for and close the sale.
-Able to obtain (within 60 days of hire) and maintain a Responsible Beverage Server.
-Possess and maintain a valid Class C driver’s license, have a reliable, insured method of transportation and an insurable driving record
-Able to travel locally to and from Wilson Artisan Wineries and attend off-site events as needed.

Education & Experience:
-Must have a high school diploma or GED. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-Minimum of one year of experience generating successful sales numbers via telephone and email.
-Wine industry experience and wine knowledge preferred.

Language Skills:
Fluent in English in both oral and written formats. Bilingual preferred. Able to communicate in a professional and effective manner at all times.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Reasoning Ability:
Able to understand and follow instructions and ask questions when clarification is needed. Able to effectively analyze information, problem solve and make sound decisions/recommendations based on same.

Computer Skills:
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Database manipulation and CRM software proficiency preferred.

The employee must be able to frequently lift, move and carry up to 50 lbs.
