Langtry Farms Vineyard & Winery is entering a period of operational growth and stabilization. The Director of Sales and Operations will be responsible for creating structure across operations, improving margin performance, aligning production with demand realities, and establishing a professional accountability culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring decisive action, financial fluency, and operational rigor.

Primary Objectives (First 12 Months)
1. Execute 2026 Financial Plan
2. Execute 2026 Sales Plan
3. Establish financial discipline and cost controls
4. Align inventory levels with sales velocity
5. Implement clear operational systems and KPIs
6. Clarify roles, reporting structures, and accountability standards
7. Reestablish custom crush operations to be profitable and structured
8. Lead the wholesale team to execute the 2026 Sales Plan

Core Responsibilities
1. Operational Stabilization
• Conduct immediate operational and staffing assessment
• Identify inefficiencies, cost leakage, and structural gaps
• Implement KPI dashboards across departments
• Establish clear production planning tied to sales forecasts
• Strengthen compliance, reporting, and vendor management processes
The Director is expected to create order, clarity, and performance standards.

2. Financial Discipline & P&L Accountability
• Own full P&L performance and fulfill 2026 financial plan including monthly budget to actual review with department heads
• Budget oversight and expense management
• Improve gross margins through pricing alignment and cost control
• Reduce excess inventory and improve working capital efficiency
• Create reliable monthly financial reporting and forecasting cadence

3. Organizational & Cultural Reset
• Evaluate existing team structure and performance
• Make necessary personnel adjustments
• Clarify expectations, authority, and accountability
• Foster a culture of ownership and urgency
• Eliminate siloed or passive behaviors

4. Market & Revenue Alignment
• Lead the National Sales Manager to achieve 2026 Sales plan
• Rebuild DTC and Hospitality
• Rebuild custom crush services
• Inventory management
Revenue growth should be disciplined and margin-driven.
