We are looking for a new team member to join our winery team ! We have an opening for a Wine Educator & Guest Experience Lead at our highly acclaimed winery located at the northern end of the Napa Valley. We are looking for a polished, sales-driven hospitality professional to join our tasting room team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences while also thriving in a sales-focused environment. Our tasting room team delivers exceptional hospitality while confidently guiding guests toward wine purchases and wine club membership.

The right candidate is personable, professional, and comfortable connecting with guests from around the world—while recognizing opportunities to convert enthusiasm into loyal customers and long-term members.

This position reports to the Tasting Room Manager.

Key Responsibilities

•  Welcome guests and guide them through engaging wine tasting experiences
•  Share knowledge of wines, vineyards, and Napa Valley winemaking
•  Recommend wines and assist guests with purchases
•  Introduce and promote wine club membership
•  Work toward individual and team wine and club sales goals
•  Process POS transactions, wine orders, and shipping requests accurately
•  Maintain guest and membership information within the CRM system
•  Provide concierge-style recommendations for dining, lodging, and local experiences
•  Assist with tours, private tastings, and winery events
•  Maintain a clean, polished, and organized tasting room environment
•  Assist with wine stocking, merchandising, and glassware preparation
•  Represent the winery professionally both on-site and at occasional off-site events

Qualifications

•  Passion for wine, hospitality, and guest experience
•  Confidence recommending wines and converting guest interest into sales
•  Strong communication skills and engaging storytelling ability
•  Sales-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for achieving wine and club goals
•  Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals preferred
•  Previous hospitality, retail, or wine sales experience preferred
•  Professional appearance and strong attention to detail
•  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
•  Weekend and holiday availability required

Physical Requirements

•  Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
•  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
