Nobile is Laffort’s premium oak alternative range, produced in France and distributed worldwide. Our staves, chips, blocks, and granulars deliver precise, reproducible aromatic and structural impact in wines. Nobile continues to grow in the USA, and we are seeking an additional full-time Sales and Technical Representative for the West Coast market.

Qualified in winemaking, confident in describing flavor and palate impacts of oak, technical and competent with the intricacies of trial winemaking, and dynamic and comfortable with a moderate travel level. The position is responsible for presenting oak alternative products and developing the market for the Nobile range while working closely with the Laffort team in building strong partnerships with all levels of wineries.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•  Visit target clients and regions and develop business across the wine industry.
•  Represent the Nobile brand in the marketplace.
•  Provide customers with accurate technical information and protocols relating to Nobile products.
•  Be informed of ongoing research, articles, and the latest results with new products and techniques.
•  Be up to date with new products, their composition, and value-adding techniques and reasons for use.
•  Organize technical meetings and tastings with regional wine groups.
•  Work with Laffort team to develop and follow through with product trials.
•  Participate in specific regional trade shows.

QUALIFICATIONS
•  Hold a Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Fermentation Science, Winemaking, or equivalent.
•  Have a thorough practical knowledge of wine and winemaking processes.
•  Be perceptive to customer needs and key decision makers.
•  Have a passion to develop sales while providing exceptional customer service.
•  Respect details, meet targets, and work within a budget.
•  Communicate well with a small team internally, and a wide range of clients externally.
•  Show commitment to follow through on corporate strategy and brand.

This is a full-time, permanent, exempt position, with PTO, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, and matching 401(k).
