Southeast Regional Manager
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
The Southeast Regional Manager will maintain an in-depth and thorough knowledge of the marketplace and market conditions and will develop and implement strategies to ensure an increase in market share and sales. This position will work very closely alongside distributors to properly manage their performance across all channels of sales, ensuring distributors’ execution of goals. The role requires an individual who wishes to maintain personal involvement and relationships with key accounts by calling on the most influential customers (on-premises and retail) in the market and will present the Demeine Estates portfolio of wines with enthusiasm, refinement, and finesse in a manner that reinforces its marketing message. This Position is based in either Atlanta or Nashville. The Southeast Regional Position additionally oversees the following states for the Demeine Estates portfolio: AR, AL, GA, NC, SC, TN.
Position Responsibilities:
• Manages portfolio/business within the states assigned.
• Responsible for Budgets, Depletions, Pricing, and Programming.
• Balance distributor management with field work, calling on accounts in all channels.
• Develop market plans and programming with Distributor Partners to ensure goal attainment.
• Manage the execution of Brand Standards with the Distributor Partners.
• Builds relationships with top key accounts in all channels.
• Works closely with management on execution at the regional level of national on and off premise accounts.
• Develop portfolio distribution by effectively presenting SKU extensions and placing new brands at the distributor level.
• Develop and manage market introductions of new wines and new wine brands.
• Monitors existing distribution and, through programming, ensure it is healthy and growing.
• Analyze and utilize RAD level data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) to improve brand sales.
• Daily/Weekly communication with chain leads in all markets.
• Set expectations of distributor performance, monitor results and manage distributor to succeed.
Qualifications:
• Extensive wholesale supply channel experience including developing relationships, creating distribution programs, launching new products, growing new and existing business and managing business profitability.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word).
• 7 -10 years of experience in the wine/spirits industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

Additional qualifications and attributes include a clean driving record and ability to lift 35lbs. Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications, and foreign language skills are a plus.
The ideal candidate will have the industry experience at the supplier and/or distributor management level and the passion for success.
This position reports directly to the Divisional Vice President - East. Expected salary range: $105K - $115K.
