Grosgrain Vineyards is a Walla Walla-based producer of unique and restrained styles of wine, ranging from sparkling (both pétillant naturel and traditional method) to crisp whites and terroir-driven reds. Working with around 20 different grape varieties from over a dozen sites including our two organically farmed estate vineyards, we offer as wide of a range of experience as you will find from a mid-sized family-owned producer. We are a team that is passionate about crafting exceptional wines that express the uniqueness of the vineyard sites we work with.

We are hiring one hardworking, passionate, detail-oriented, and fun individual to fill out our 2026 harvest crew, with the option of starting immediately on a part-time basis. Grosgrain Vineyards interns work closely with the winemaking team and play a crucial role in crafting our wines.

Duties include:
•  Fermentation management: punch downs and foot treading
•  Crush pad operations: grape receival and processing.
•  Draining tanks, pressing, and barrel filling
•  Grape maturity sampling and processing
•  As well as, topping, cleaning, etc.
•  Assisting with tasting room as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
•  At least one harvest experience is preferred, but not required.
•  General knowledge of winemaking and viticulture
•  Ability to climb, bend, stand for prolonged lengths of time, and be able to lift 50lbs.
•  Ability to work long, flexible hours through busy harvest time.
•  Candidates must be at least 21 years of age by start of internship.
•  Ability to lawfully work in the USA.

Candidates should be very organized, accurate, and be able to efficiently multi-task. Successful interns have a good understanding of winemaking concepts and have a positive attitude.

The internship begins approximately mid-to-late-August and continues through October. Can start earlier (immediately even) if interested in part time tasting room, disgorging sparkling wines, racking, bottling, etc.
