Title: Regional Director of Sales, Central

Classification: Salary, Exempt

Reports to: SVP of Sales

Location: Boisset Collection, location varies by region

Position Summary:

The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for leading all sales and marketing initiatives for Boisset wine brands within an assigned geographic territory. This executive-level role drives revenue growth, distributor performance, pricing strategy, promotional execution, and profitability management across the region. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales leader with extensive beverage alcohol industry experience, strong distributor management expertise, and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and managing budgets.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
•  Develop and execute regional sales strategy aligned with company revenue and profitability goals
•  Set and communicate sales targets to wholesale distributors and district sales managers
•  Monitor pricing, inventory levels, depletions, and margin performance
•  Conduct brand-level profit & loss analysis and adjust strategies accordingly
•  Track sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities

Distributor & Key Account Management
•  Lead regional distributor meetings to communicate pricing, programs, and sales objectives
•  Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale distributors and key account principals
•  Drive distributor accountability and performance against regional goals
•  Optimize product placement and promotional execution within accounts

Marketing & Promotion Execution
•  Partner with Marketing on regional promotions, incentives, and new product launches
•  Manage promotional budgets, distributor incentives, and trade spend
•  Represent Boisset Collection at trade events and industry functions
•  Ensure effective pricing strategies to maximize brand visibility and profitability

Financial & Operational Oversight
•  Manage regional budgets including T&E, promotions, incentives, and office expenses
•  Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and regional performance updates for SVP of Sales
•  Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal alcoholic beverage regulations
•  Maintain accurate expense reporting and documentation

Leadership & Collaboration
•  Supervise district sales managers and regional sales team members (as applicable)
•  Communicate regularly with SVP of Sales regarding market conditions and performance
•  Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
•  Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) required
•  15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in wine, spirits, or beverage alcohol
•  Proven success in distributor management, budget oversight, and revenue growth
•  Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverage compliance and regulatory environment

Additional Requirements
•  Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
•  Ability to travel daily within region, including overnight and air travel
•  Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Work Environment
•  Office, distributor, retail, restaurant, and trade event environments
•  Regular regional travel with occasional evenings and weekends
•  Combination of in-office, field sales, and travel-based work
