Aridus Wine Company is seeking a dependable, hardworking Cellar Hand to join our growing production team in Willcox, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all facets of winemaking while working with one of Arizona’s leading premium wineries.

Aridus is a 100% Arizona vineyard and winery, crafting expressive wines from estate and locally grown fruit in the high desert. Our production facility handles a diverse range of varietals and programs, offering meaningful exposure for candidates serious about building a career in wine production.

Key Responsibilities
•  Assist with wine movements, pump-overs, punch-downs, rackings, and blending
•  Perform barrel work including filling, topping, stirring, and sanitation
•  Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, fittings, and cellar equipment
•  Support filtration, transfers, and bottling operations
•  Load and unload cases, barrels, and production materials

Harvest Participation
•  Grape sorting, crushing, pressing
•  Fermentation monitoring and sample collection
•  Maintain cleanliness during crush

Safety & Operations
•  Follow all cellar safety procedures and chemical handling protocols
•  Maintain an organized and sanitary workspace
•  Assist with winery projects and warehouse tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

Top candidates will be known for reliability and work ethic.
Winemaking skills can be taught — attitude cannot.

Preferred:
•  Previous cellar or harvest experience
•  Forklift certification (or willingness to learn)

Required:
•  Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
•  Comfortable working long hours during harvest
•  Able to work in hot, cold, wet, and physically demanding conditions
•  Strong team mentality
•  Positive, can-do attitude

Compensation
Hourly: $18–$24 depending on experience
Overtime: Available during harvest and peak production
