Position Overview:
The Assistant Winemaker will work closely with the Winemaker in all aspects of wine production, from grape processing to bottling. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for the art and science of winemaking.
Flexible hours, part time to full time, full time during harvest.
Starting pay $20-$25 an hour


Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the production of wine from harvest through bottling.
Monitor fermentations and perform daily lab analysis.
Maintain cellar operations, including racking and barrel management.
Ensure quality control and sanitation standards are met.
Keep accurate production and inventory records.
Operate and maintain winemaking equipment safely.
Forklift operations.
In-house bottling.


Qualifications:
Cellar experience
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours during harvest.
Passion for wine and an eagerness to learn.
