Position Summary: The Cellar Office Assistant provides administrative and customer support for the dept. This includes general office duties and tasks specific to wine production. This role reports directly to the Cellar Master.

Duties, Responsibilities and Minimum Qualifications:
•  Use specialized winery software (VinoEZ) to accurately record crush tag data.
•  Issues weight tags for grapes and wine.
•  Maintains records for all grape/wine loads, keeping records for each lot through the process of fermentation.
•  Communicates with other departments supervisors regarding grape loads.
•  Calculate additions for fermentation including adjusting alcohol levels when necessary.
•  Handles the inventory and orders of chemicals, equipment, daily essentials, and office supplies for the department.
•  Arrange transportation of barrels, macro bins, and occasional wine being shipped between facilities.
•  Update and generate record keeping of Brix and temporary staffing, bottling summaries, &ETS reports.
•  Work closely with the Director of Winemaking, Cellar Master, Winemaker Records keeper, and cellar crew to ensure the accurate and timely recording and assistance of all winemaking activities.
•  Provides direct support to staff.
•  Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•  Strong organizations skills and attention to detail.
•  Proficient with standard office software, such as MS Suite.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
•  Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•  Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
•  Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
•  High school diploma or equivalent is required or experience in a relevant field.
•  Basic wine knowledge is preferred.

Working Conditions:
•  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, late nights and holidays

Physical Requirements:
•  Operate a desktop computer using keyboard and mouse, employing repetitive arm and wrist motions.
•  Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
•  Specific vision abilities require close and distance vision.
•  Work is sedentary in nature but may require some standing and walking.
•  Occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
•  Occasionally bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch or climb stairs.
•  Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Work Location:
•  Fairfield, California

Pay Range: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour ($50,000 – $66,500 annually, based on a full-time 40-hour work week). Actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills.
