About The Role
We welcome motivated and driven individuals. We embrace an environment dedicated to high end winemaking. This is an excellent opportunity to work with various varietals at an ultra-premium winery. You may be assigned to day shift or swing or night shift. This is a seasonal role and typically lasts around 4 months between August and November.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with all cellar activities, including wine movements, crushing, racking, blending, and bottling.
Responsible for sanitation in all areas of cellar operations, including tanks, floors, fittings, and all other equipment.
Follow and complete work order instructions in detail.
Processing fruit -handling grape deliveries and participating in cluster sorting.
Operate presses, de-steamers, optical sorter, and crushers.
Operate forklifts.
Pump overs.
Punch downs.
Barrel work; preparation and filling
Follow safe work practices
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior harvest experience preferred, but not required.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
Able to lift 55+ pounds.
Walk, kneel, bend, and stand.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
A percentage of time may be spent in the cellar where temperatures are cool, and the noise level is usually moderate.
Able to work outside in variable weather conditions
