Position Overview: This individual will be our social media and digital marketing expert responsible for leading and executing our Company’s online presence and keeping its visual and written content relevant and aligned with our brand anthem and strategic goals. S/he will monitor and create social media content, activity and trends, determining where and how to build brand awareness while developing fans, influencers and ambassadors. This position will coordinate and work closely with marketing, communications, DTC, and external vendors, providing functional online relevance and content based on department goals. In applying key data analysis, this person will develop and execute strategic social, digital, and influencer initiatives across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but not limited to the following:
Lead social media and influencer initiatives, crafting compelling content across platforms such as FB/IG, TikTok, Linkedin, and more. Consistently and diligently engage in all RSWE brands social media; strategize, own the content and calendars, and maintain brand identity esthetics across all platforms.
Content Creation: Write witty, engaging, compelling and culturally inclusive posts consistent with our vision and values that resonate across demographics — keeping audiences laughing, learning, and sharing; tell our story and capture dynamic video/ photos that are relevant and on trend on daily, weekly and monthly basis. Work with and develop partners and UGC creators across channels to ensure content is posted, shared and reposted as needed.
Digital Advertising and Paid Social: Create targeted campaigns, run retargeting ads, track ROAS, and manage Google Ads / Meta Ads; work with external vendors to ensure ads have ROI that meets standards and KPIs.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Develop a robust social media and influencer content calendar across departments aligned with business priorities, including new product launches, community events, and educational content.?Work closely with and manage external vendors such as PR agency and UGC creators to ensure all content, deliverables and communications are consistent, brand appropriate and on time.
Community Management: Respond to DMs, comments, and reviews in a timely, on-brand, professional voice to convert interest into purchases and help drive revenue and sales across all channels and platforms.
Alcohol Marketing Compliance: Follow and ensure all social posts, ads, promotions, and landing pages meet federal/state wine advertising laws and platform restrictions.
Influencer Management: Create and maintain partnerships with influencers to build content library, create reach and awareness and build relationships. Support and ensure influencer and media are engaged, posting, creating content and delivering on committed KPIs and deliverables. Work closely with PR agency and compliance on influencers ensuring brand voice and standards are met consistently.
Event, Tasting Room, and Consumer Marketing: Promote winery events, tastings, wine club sign-ups, and seasonal promotions online while delivering creative ideas for reaching new consumers and building email growth plans across all portfolio items. Attend events, capture content, and represent the brands socially as needed.
Data Driven: Analytically minded and dexterous with numbers and data; translate data analysis to actionable business insights while driving sales for DTC channel.
Analytics and Reporting: Track KPIs (sales, engagement, conversions, website traffic) and social media platforms to generate metrics and analytics while reporting out monthly/ annually.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of marketing, social media and/or public relations experience in the wine industry and Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field
Significant experience and expertise in producing social media content and managing projects; demonstrated success in building influencer and UGC creator relationships
Superior organizational, time management, verbal communication, and writing skills across all platforms (social content, media relations, etc.)
Dynamic, creative, motivated, problem solving, team-oriented self-starter that can adapt to change and build relationships across functions and teams
Strong design sensibilities and understanding of end-user goals required
Acute attention to detail, ability to anticipate customer needs and respond appropriately
Skilled with Facebook Business Manager and Facebook Ads Manager and comfortable using social media management tools like Hootsuite (or similar) and Google Analytics
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Power Point, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom
Salary: $80,000 - $105,000
