Position Summary
The Hospitality Associate is responsible for ensuring that guests at the winery receive impeccable customer service, while sampling our award-winning wines and learning about our vineyards, history and wine making practices. We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic, self-starter who is flexible and loves working in a team environment. The candidate must be passionate about wine and have the ability to sell and develop lasting relationships with guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Greet all visitors with enthusiasm
Lead guests through tours and wine tasting flights, educating them about the winery story, wines, and brand.
Work towards developing relationships with guests to convert into Wine Club members
Effectively suggest and sell wine, with the ability to “up-sell”
Daily Tasting Room operations, set up and breakdown, cash handling, daily sales, and club transactions.
Work seamlessly with team to create The Estate Experience for all guests and members

Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends
Must be 21 years of age or older to comply with ABC regulations
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Must possess or acquire a Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handler’s Certifications
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

The projected hourly pay rate for this position is $17.13 per hour (in addition to tips and commission). This is the projected compensation for the position however the actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as (but not limited to) candidate qualifications, related experience and education, candidate work location and market data. Crimson Wine Group reserves the right to modify the pay range/rate at any time in the future.
