Part-Time Tasting Room Associate

Corollary Wines

Amity, OR

Apply

Job Description:

Hi – we’re Dan and Jeanne, owners of and winemakers for Corollary Wines, where we focus exclusively on traditional method sparkling wines from the Willamette Valley.

Our dynamic red tasting room in the Eola-Amity Hills offers one of the valley’s only sparkling-only experiences. Tastings are designed to provide a highly personalized deep dive on bubbles, typically running about 90 minutes and featuring 5-6 different wines. Appointments are by reservation only.

We’re looking for an experienced bubbles lover to join our tasting room team on a part-time basis. You might be a good fit if:

- You love sharing your passion for traditional method sparkling wine
- You have a gift for hospitality and making guests feel welcome
- You have a talent for conveying complex information in a compelling, personalized way
- You are a self-starter, reliable, and able to work independently
- You can work 2-4 days/week, including at least one weekend day

We’re a very small team, so you’ll be working both alongside us and independently in this role. That means you will:

- Greet guests
- Share the Corollary story
- Pour flights and explain the wines
- Teach guests about traditional method production and what makes it special
- Personalize each tasting experience based on the guest’s interests
- Capture key guest details in our CRM to enhance future visits
- Share the benefits of our wine club with every guest
- Process wine sales and club signups
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to wine sales, responsible alcohol service, and health and safety standards
- Help guests load wine purchases into their vehicles
- Keep the tasting room and service areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Wash and polish glassware

And of course, the following are requirements too:

- Able to move 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day (sparkling bottles are heavy!)
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Be age 21+ and maintain a valid OLCC alcohol service permit

Competitive compensation (hourly rate + tips). There may also be opportunities to grow this role by getting involved with marketing, events, and/or wholesale sales, depending on your experience and interest.
