7 Vines Vineyard is a family owned Minnesota vineyard & winery managing 10 acres of cold-climate grape varietals. We care deeply about vine health, sustainable practices, and producing high-quality fruit suited to our region. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Viticulturist to assist in overseeing vineyard operations throughout the growing season and beyond.

•  The Viticulturist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of approximately 10 acres of vineyard. This role involves hands-on fieldwork, seasonal planning, and decision-making to ensure vine health, productivity, and fruit quality. The ideal candidate has experience with cold-hardy grape varieties and thrives in a small, collaborative agricultural setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing all vineyard operations across the growing season, including pruning, canopy management, irrigation, and harvest
- Monitor vine health, pests, and diseases and respond proactively
- Apply sustainable and best-practice viticulture techniques
- Maintain vineyard records and seasonal reports
- Operate and maintain vineyard equipment and tools
- Assist with harvest logistics and coordination
- Collaborate with winemaking team to meet quality and production goals
- Support general vineyard upkeep during the off-season as needed
- Assist with grape sorting and grape processing tasks during harvest
- Assist with winemaking tasks, such as bottling or racking wine, as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience required in viticulture or vineyard management
- Experience with cold-climate or cold-hardy grape varieties strongly preferred
- Knowledge of grapevine biology, pests, and diseases
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently, manage time well and strong organizational
- Equipment operation and maintenance experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to secure a Spray Applicatiors License
- Willingness to secure a Forklift Certification
