We are looking to add a talented and experienced event sales and services associate to our Cakebread family. Our high performing events team organizes and provides outstanding customer service and a remarkable experience for all guests.

What we will ask you to do:

Assists with planning and execution of all winery events, including pre-event registration, managing event electronic files and documentation, co-hosting events with other Cakebread Cellars staff, communicating with vendors and staff, distributing event communications, and debrief reporting.

Responds to phone and email inquiries in a timely manner for general questions and securing reservations.

Confirms event bookings, secures billing information and clearly details the information event in the reservation system so the appropriate staff can complete the customer’s request to their expectations.

Conducts site visits for prospective clients.

Coordinates, books, and sells experiences for private group visits to the winery.

Plans and confirms all details with customer including timing, guest count, wine selections, menu selections and rental equipment where appropriate as well as any special requests, allergies or dietary restrictions the guests may have.

Develops and maintains a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, wines, and preparation of food.



What you should bring to the table:
•    Minimum 3 years special event planning and operations experience in premium wine or luxury hospitality industries. Fine dining experience is a plus.

•    Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook, including creating spreadsheets of moderate complexity.

•    Exceptional written and verbal skills.

•    Strong time-management skills and ability to plan work and work efficiently according to priorities.

•    Solid planning and organizational skills, along with creative problem solving and analytical skills.

•  Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
