Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Process Technician to support pilot-scale production and laboratory operations. This role blends equipment operation, distillation process support, and routine wine chemistry/quality control analyses in a dynamic pilot facility.


Key Responsibilities:
- Operate pilot-scale distillation equipment and assist with client production trials.
- Prepare, monitor, and document all pilot production activities.
- Perform routine wine chemistry analyses, including pH, titratable acidity (TA), SO2, and alcohol levels.
- Prepare samples for aroma and ethanol profiling using GC-MS.
- Maintain the QC sample library and ensure accurate, organized laboratory records.
- Clean and sanitize equipment in alignment with food-safety and winery standards.
- Support cellar operations and assist with product development projects as needed.


Requirements:
- Previous experience in a winery, brewery, distillery, or food/beverage production environment.
- Familiarity with cleaning, sanitizing, and general production SOPs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a production setting.
- Basic laboratory skills required; prior GC-MS experience strongly preferred.
