Prestige Wine Imports Corp. is the exclusive importer of a distinguished and diverse portfolio of high-quality Italian wines sourced from the Italian Dolomites, Tuscany, Puglia, Veneto, and Sicily, to name a few. Headquartered in New York City, we are growing our Central Division and seeking a hands-on sales leader who wants real ownership, meaningful impact, and a portfolio they can be proud to represent.

The ideal candidate brings a passion for wine, strong ethics, and a solid understanding of both off and on-premise sales.

Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading the PWI portfolio across Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma, with primary responsibility of distributor execution, key account relationships and overall regional performance.

This role reports directly to the Vice President of Sales – Central Division and manages one Market Manager, while serving as the primary strategic partner to distributor leadership across the territory. Travel across the region and flexibility in working hours are required.

Key areas of focus include:
•  Driving distributor and PWI sales team performance
•  Executing against new distribution and promotional programs within the National Account universe (both Retail and On-Premise)
•  Leveraging cross functional partnerships with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain
•  Optimizing promotional spend and brand investments to maximize ROI

Responsibilities:
Business Growth

•  Achieve assigned sales (depletion) and distribution objectives across PWI portfolio and measure performance results against annual plan objectives
•  Lead execution against volume and distribution growth goals

Distributor Growth & Account Leadership
•  Partner with distributor management to set and achieve sales goals to include volume (shipments and depletions), revenue and distribution through effective price and program execution.
•  Ensure timely and accurate entry of pricing and programs into the company’s pricing software to support seamless execution and compliance.
•  Facilitate effective communication with distributor management to ensure achievement of goals and objectives.

Team and Internal Collaboration
•  Grow and foster professional relationships with key accounts in the region which result in improved distribution, velocity and volume.
•  Coach , develop and lead a Market Manager while serving as a primary strategic partner to distributor leadership across a four-state territory.
•  Provide senior management with timely, accurate insights on competitive activity, pricing, promotions, and market trends

Performance Measures:
Success in this role is measured through a balanced scorecard of growth, execution and leadership impact :
•  Volume (shipments, depletions), Net Revenue, Share growth and expense management
•  Execution of national customer and distributor program goals
•  Annual distribution targets in on-premise and retail channels
•  Effective leadership and team development , resulting in stronger execution, distributor alignment, and sustained regional growth.
•  Strong 360 feedback (distributors, accounts, cross-functional partners, team members)

Preferred Location:
•  Major market within the assigned territory (Houston strongly preferred)

Skill Set:
•  Minimum 3-5 years beverage/alcohol sales experience
•  Wine Education Credentials (CSW/WSET) a plus
•  Proven ability to drive results both individually and through others
•  Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
•  Analytical, strategic thinker with high emotional intelligence
•  Comfortable influencing internal and external stakeholders
