Under limited supervision, the Bottling Line Maintenance Tech III / Electrician performs a wide variety of highly skilled mechanical and electrical duties. Inspects, repairs, installs, and maintains electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Ensures all work performed meets required safety regulations. Uses a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment. This role is proficient interfaces with major machine centers across multiple bottling lines and plant equipment, supporting high-speed, reliable, and safe bottling operations. The position will troubleshoot electrical controls processes and promptly report problems and / or correct issues. May provide work leadership and/or training support to other employees.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Install and maintain wiring, control systems, and related electrical components.
• Ensure all work meets safety regulations and company standards.
• Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment, including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing instruments.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs.
• Provide guidance or mentorship to junior electricians or apprentices when needed.
• Collaborate with managers and other team members to ensure efficient project completion.
• Lead machinery trouble-shooting; document repairs made
• Replace or repair defective parts; Disassemble malfunctioning equipment; examine and test mechanisms on large and small pieces of machinery.
• Provide preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting services for barrel processing equipment, bottling line equipment, and filtration equipment, de-stemmers, presses, and crush pits
• Help with bottling line changeovers, preventive maintenance, and filler, filter and line sanitation procedures.
• Communication: Participates in and contributes to team meetings. Assists in the development of improved procedures and techniques. Help train, evaluate and retrain new team members.
• Follows standard operating procedures in the performance of all bottling activities to ensure maximum productivity and wine quality objectives are achieved.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to timely and accurate reporting of all work-related injuries and illnesses to the supervisor, promoting safety awareness to co-workers, advising the supervisor of any unsafe acts and conditions and wearing required personal protective equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field, preferred.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program, preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Must have hands-on experience with packaging machinery, including conveyors, cartoners, case packers, labelers, and palletizers.
• Computer literate with experience using MS Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Familiarity with ERP software, e.g., JDE.
• Solid understanding of electrical schematics, instrumentation, and control panel design, industrial packaging processes and machinery.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift (swing, or graveyard) and weekends and overtime.
