Job Description
Grosgrain Vineyards, a boutique winery located in the Walla Walla Valley, is seeking an organized, energetic and self-motivated individual to oversee the operations of our upcoming Woodinville tasting room in the brand-new Harvest development.
Responsibilities include:
• Supervise, schedule, on-floor management, and training of tasting room staff members.
• Carries out duties associated with opening, closing, operation and maintenance of the tasting room.
• Maintain and reconcile tasting room inventory (wine and merchandise).
• Ensure Tasting Room procedures are being followed (opening/closing, cleanliness, stocking, preparation, etc.)
• Work with team to create special programming and promotions
• Report and track tasting room performance
• Work with team to manage wine club operations
• Maintain, coordinate, and set-up daily reservations
Qualifications
• Supervisory experience in a customer service or hospitality setting preferred
• 3 years wine industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• General wine knowledge.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and obtain or have a valid Food Handler's and MAST pouring permit upon hire.
• Orderport (POS) experience desired but not required.
Requirements
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and event-based schedules.
• Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Type of Work: Full Time
Compensation: $25-$30/hr + tips and benefits (health/dential/vision).
