Title: Shipping & Fulfillment Coordinator
Reports to: Bailey, Callie - Warehouse & Fulfillment Manager
Classification: Hourly

Position Summary:

The Shipping & Fulfillment Coordinator is an energetic self-starter who is detail oriented, has excellent follow up skills and the ability to effectively communicate and work well with others. They enjoy competing repetitive tasks with consistency and possesses excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. Most importantly, the Shipping & Fulfillment Coordinator has a high level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. This role will have a talent for recognizing the opportunities for process improvement and have the ability to drive opportunities to execution, supporting processes across all DTC channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Consumer Delivery Experience

•  Accurately packs all orders
•  Coordinates deliveries to meet customer and interdepartmental demand in a timely manner
•  Assists with all consumer wine shipments including tracking of undeliverable attempts, reroutes, lost orders, returns, damaged goods, and claim follow-up
•  Manage integration and reconciliation of fulfillment data in all systems utilized
•  Act as the primary contact with our fulfillment partners
•  Support best practice processes and tools that improve the fulfillment experience

Consumer Sales and Tasting Room Support

•  Accurately and efficiently process orders/returns including batching and label printing
•  Assist teams in researching and resolving customer issues with detail and efficiency
•  Assist with on and off-site events in regards to product delivery to support DTC sales/marketing

Inventory Management

•  Maintains a clean and orderly warehouse whose space is maximized for efficiency
•  Responsible for the integrity of operational transactions, including transfers
•  Assist Controller with monthly physical inventory (and periodic ad hoc requests)
•  Work with Controller to review and manage inventory and re-order lead times on a daily basis
•  Work with DTC team to order special packaging, coordinate repacking, and order shipping supplies

Warehouse and Cellar Support

•  Manage all shipping and receiving at winery
•  Write BOLs for case good shipments out of the winery
•  Delivery of wine to local accounts or for special shipments
•  Pack media samples
•  Production help:
- Wax, label, and package all large format bottles
- Forklift driving during bottling
- Occasional harvest duties such as racking or barrel work
- Bottle labeling/relabeling projects


QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

•  Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
•  Proficient in using web-based systems and proprietary compliance and fulfillment systems
•  High School Diploma or equivalent
•  Three years’ experience in fulfillment role
•  A background in shipping, logistics, and project management also a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

•  Regularly required to stand or be on their feet up to seven hours per day
•  Ability to move cases of wine (50 lbs average), event tables, chairs and related equipment
•  Forklift certification required to operate to load and unload trucks or move pallets of wine
