Founded in 2021 by three graduates of Washington State University’s Viticulture & Enology Program, Tirriddis is entirely focused on traditional method sparkling wines in Washington State. Fueled by an ambition to step away from Eurocentric wine culture, our wines sacrifice the expected to showcase an authentic & original expression of Washington State through sparkling wines.

About the Role:
We are recruiting a full-time Tasting Room Educator at our Prosser tasting room who exhibits customer service skills, a positive attitude, and energetic demeanor. The role is to serve, interact with, and educate our guests all while making the sale, securing wine club members, and building relationships. It is paramount that you truly enjoy curating a wonderful experience for all our customers. As a smaller team - teamwork, strong communication skills, and flexibility will be required to integrate and grow within the Tirriddis team. Weekend and evening availability required.

Responsibilities:
Curate a wonderful, educational, and memorable experience for all customers.
Effectively and efficiently tell the story of Tirriddis, our wines, and Washington wine.
Make the sale of wine, wine clubs, and non-wine products to customers.
Coordinate and fulfill wine shipments.
Learn & operate Commerce7 POS system proficiently.
Perform daily & weekly tasks to maintain a clean and stocked tasting room.
Work special events & wine club parties.

Qualifications:
Hospitality experience preferred.
Moderate knowledge of Winemaking & Viticulture preferred.
Basic computer skills, POS management, and organizational skills.
Team player who enjoys fast paced environment and able to motivate team members
Able to move and carry 50 lbs.
Stand and work on your feet for long periods of time.
Reliable transportation is required.
Able to commit to hospitality working hours (Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays).

General schedule:
Monday & Thursday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Friday – Sunday: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Compensation:
$17-$19 – Dependent on relevant experience.
