POSITION OVERVIEW
The Private Client Specialist is a warm, knowledgeable, and trusted point of connection for collectors across Lawrence Wine Estates. This role leads with genuine relationship building, thoughtful outreach, and personalized recommendations that help clients discover more of the wines and estates they love.
With a focus on proactive communication, elevated service, and curated guidance, the Private Client Ambassador deepens engagement, supports collector growth and retention, and enhances the overall experience for our most valued clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Relationship-Based Sales & Proactive Outreach
•  Establish, build and grow long-term relationships with collectors through consistent, proactive outreach designed to drive engagement and sales.
•  Lead personalized sales conversations informed by client preferences, purchase history, and visit behavior.
•  Curate and recommend wines, allocations, and estate experiences that align with each client’s collecting style and interests.
•  Drive continued engagement through intentional follow-up after visits, tastings, and milestone moments.
•  Follow up on all abandoned carts.

Client Development & Portfolio Expansion
•  Proactively introduce collectors to additional estates across the Lawrence Wine Estates portfolio to expand awareness and purchasing.
•  Actively promote limited releases, seasonal offerings, and library wines through targeted, relationship-driven outreach.
•  Support additional sales and multi-estate engagement through thoughtful, consultative conversations.
•  Anticipate client needs and make strategic recommendations that grow cellars, increase lifetime value, and strengthen long-term loyalty.

Collector Activity Monitoring & Re-Engagement
•  Monitor shifts in engagement, such as reduced activity or infrequent interaction, and reach out early to maintain connection.
•  Re-engage inactive or quiet collectors with thoughtful, human-centered communication.
•  Welcome first-time purchasers, and re-engaged clients with intentional outreach that builds familiarity, trust, and momentum across the estate portfolio.
•  Collaborate with the Director of Client Services on outreach priorities, focus lists, and seasonal messaging.
•  Share client feedback and behavioral insights that contribute to elevated service and long-term engagement.

Segmentation Awareness & Insight
•  Maintain accurate notes, tagging, and segmentation in Commerce7 to guide targeted outreach.
•  Observe patterns in collector behavior and share insights with the Director of Client Services.
•  Document outreach to ensure a complete and consistent history for each client.

QUALIFICATIONS
•  Experience in private client services, relationship-based sales, wine club programs, or luxury hospitality.
•  Strong wine knowledge with the ability to speak confidently and engagingly about vineyards, winemaking, and stylistic nuances.
•  Warm, polished written and verbal communication skills.
•  Naturally intuitive, personable, and thoughtful in anticipating client needs.
•  Proficient in CRM systems (Commerce7 preferred).
•  Highly organized with excellent discretion and professionalism.
•  Available Monday–Friday, working onsite and across estates as needed; willingness to travel occasionally for private-client engagements.
