Position Summary:
Join our team at LucidWild Estate where we provide exceptional wine and culinary experiences to up to 200 guests daily. We're seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook who will start with mid-day shifts and gradually transition into a closing role as they grow with our establishment.
This dynamic position offers significant opportunities for professional development and increased hours for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain an organized and efficient dish area
• Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, glassware, and utensils
• Polish glassware to ensure spotless presentation for wine service
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation
• Manage dishwashing supplies and notify management of inventory needs
Food Preparation:
• Prepare components for our seasonal flight of 5 bites served to each guest
• Assist with prep for regular daily service and special events
• Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of all prep areas
• Properly label, date, and store all food items according to safety standards
Operational Support:
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
• Support the team during peak service periods
• Contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications:
• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
• Basic food handling knowledge or willingness to obtain certification
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 7 hours).
• Ability to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed.
• Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
