Cristom Vineyards is a family-owned winery in the Eola-Amity Hills of the Willamette Valley, producing site-focused Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Gamay noir and Syrah in a biodynamic, environmentally aware and sustainable manner.

We’re currently seeking a team of enthusiastic individuals to join us for the 2026 Harvest. Each member of the crew will have the opportunity to experience all elements of cellar work, as well as biodynamic farming and animal husbandry. Additionally, one qualified intern will fill the role of Harvest Lab Technician.

Cellar Hand Responsibilities:

•  Traveling to nearby vineyards for maturity sampling
•  Processing maturity samples
•  Cleaning and sanitizing tanks and equipment
•  Physically demanding barrel work
•  Sorting incoming fruit
•  Daily cap management activities (mostly punchdowns)
•  Barreling down juice and wine
•  Digging out red fermenters
•  Forklifting, for skilled individuals
•  Racking, washing, steaming and sousing barrels
•  Bottling activities
•  Biodynamic farming activities
•  Attending to and managing estate flock of sheep
•  Occasional vineyard work, as time allows

Lab Technician Responsibilities:

•  Performing routine juice and wine analyses (Brix, pH, TA)
•  Processing and analyzing maturity samples
•  Operating Y15 auto-analyzer for enzymatic analyses (malic acid, volatile acidity, YAN, Glu/Fru)
•  Preparing and executing acid addition titrations
•  Daily sampling from open-top fermenters and barrel fermentations
•  Daily Brix and temperature measurements on all fermentations
•  Recording analysis data in InnoVint software.

This position will begin as early as July 24th and continue through the end of harvest. The end date could be as late as mid-November or as early as mid-October, depending on the season.
