Sales Development Representative

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a foundational role at InnoVint. As our first Sales Development Representative, you’ll help build the playbook for how we proactively reach and connect with wineries. You’ll support a modern, data-driven prospecting motion using targeted outreach and AI-powered tools. Creativity matters here, whether that’s personalized messaging, smart use of intros, events, or gifting, to start real conversations with the right wineries. You’ll work closely with Marketing and Sales to turn ideas into pipeline in a fast-moving, hands-on environment. If you’re energized by building from the ground up, testing what works, and learning quickly while shaping a new function, this role offers real ownership and impact. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO
–Prospect into target winery accounts using thoughtful, personalized outreach powered by data, segmentation, and AI tools
–Create and customize outbound sequences to reach winery owners, GMs, winemakers, operations, and finance leaders
–Engage prospects across channels including email, LinkedIn, social selling, and cold calling
–Test creative prospecting ideas such as warm intros, events, gifting, and tailored messaging
–Confidently handle objections and questions over email and phone
–Book first meetings directly onto Account Executive calendars
–Partner closely with Marketing on campaigns and events to generate pipeline
–Track activity and results in HubSpot to improve targeting, messaging, and conversion rates
–Help build and document the SDR playbook by capturing what works, what doesn’t, and why
–Share feedback with Sales and Marketing on messaging, personas, segments, and objections
Success in this role is directly tied to booking meetings that convert to high quality opportunities.

WHAT YOU BRING
–Grit and resilience. You’re comfortable with outbound outreach, rejection, and learning through iteration.
–Exceptional communication skills. You write and speak in a way that’s thoughtful, concise, and human.
–You connect easily with people. You’re curious, friendly, and comfortable starting conversations with someone new.
–Tech savviness. You’re comfortable working in tools like HubSpot and ChatGPT and can pick up new software quickly.
–You have experience in sales development, marketing, or growth roles. Direct SDR experience is a plus but not required.
–You take ownership, move quickly, and hold yourself accountable for results.
–Passion and interest in the wine industry and learning how wineries operate (industry experience not required)
–Energy and ambition. You want to help build something from the ground up and be part of a growing team.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
InnoVint’s compensation program delivers above-market total compensation based on role, level, and geography, with annual salary ranging from $85,000-$95,000 OTE. Total compensation includes base salary, uncapped bonus/variable, and stock options (ISOs), as well as a benefits package including:
