Results Partners (RP) is a vineyard management company serving clients in both the Willamette Valley and Columbia Valley. We are seeking a Viticulturist to join our team. This position is based at our Willamette Valley location, where we manage vineyards under a variety of farming practices, including LIVE, Organic, Biodynamic, and conventional systems.
The Viticulturist is responsible for managing data collection and implementing vineyard actions that support vine health, yield optimization, fruit quality, and operational efficiency across assigned properties. This role collaborates closely with Senior Viticulturists, Vineyard Managers, and field teams to translate vineyard data and observations into timely, practical recommendations aligned with client goals and seasonal priorities.
This position is ideal for a candidate with both viticultural and personnel-management experience. The ideal individual is highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and skilled at helping team members establish priorities in a fast-paced environment. A passion for outdoor work, data collection, and attention to detail is essential. We encourage innovative thinking and creative problem-solving.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage and prioritize a variety of year-round viticultural tasks
• Map-based data collection
• Pruning weight monitoring
• Crop estimation
• Tissue sampling and nutrient analysis
• Phenology data collection
• Replant counts in development blocks
• Soil sampling
• Virus sampling
• Pest and disease scouting
• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations
• Supervise and manage team members within the assigned subregion
• Assist the operations team with decision-making processes
• Maintain regular communication with Vineyard Managers in assigned subregions
• Distribute and collect pesticide work orders
• Coordinate biodynamic applications
• Maintain accurate records for all vineyard inputs
• Communicate relevant viticultural information to internal teams and clients
• Oversee certification compliance
• Meet certification agency inspectors for field evaluations
• Complete all required documentation to maintain certifications
• Utilize technical tools and software including AgCode, GIS/remote sensing (e.g., NDVI), and weather station data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• BS/MS in Viticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, or related field plus 3+ years of vineyard experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Spanish language skills a plus
• Proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong understanding of vine nutrition, canopy management, IPM, crop estimation, and phenology
• Dependable performance and attendance
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work long days outdoors in variable weather conditions
• Good driving record
• Willingness to work long hours as needed (including 6 days/week during busy season)
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
