POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Sales Manager, General Market, is responsible for driving distribution, sales performance, and executional excellence across the Los Angeles market. This role will partner closely with distributor teams, key accounts, and internal leadership to deliver against Bogle Family Wine Collection’s strategic objectives. Responsibilities include business planning, distributor management, in-market execution, budget stewardship, and delivering strong depletion results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Planning & Program Development
•  Partner with the Regional Sales Director to build annual business plans, including goal setting, programming, pricing surveys, and market reviews.
•  Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to support programming and planning.
•  Execute new item launches, brand initiatives, and line extensions aligned with company priorities.
•  Manage all business activities within assigned territory, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Execution & Communication of Sales Objectives
•  Implement performance targets and KPIs using Bogle Family Wine Collection’s brand priorities across distributor teams.
•  Achieve sales, distribution, and execution goals through consistent in-market work.
•  Strengthen key account relationships by delivering compelling, best-in-class presentations and building brand advocacy.

In-Market Training & Relationship Development
•  Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with the Regional Sales Director and distributor leadership.
•  Identify and leverage business opportunities to expand distribution and increase velocity.
•  Train, motivate, and coach distributor sales teams on brand priorities, standards, and activation strategies.
•  Partner with Trade Marketing to align execution with brand health insights and marketing needs.

Administration & Analysis
•  Provide timely feedback on market trends, competitive activity, pricing, and distributor challenges or opportunities.
•  Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and depletion analyses for the assigned territory.
•  Conduct post-program analysis and weekly performance reviews with distributor teams.
•  Ensure all reports, administrative tasks, and T&E submissions are completed accurately and on schedule.
•  Utilize all internal communication tools and platforms (Compass or IDig).

QUALIFICATIONS:
•  Minimum 5 years of wine industry experience required.
•  Strong understanding of the three-tier distribution system.
•  Proven on-premise or general market account experience.
•  Experience managing people or distributor teams.
•  High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, OneNote).
•  Outgoing and engaged professional presence.
•  Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
•  Goal-oriented with a commitment to nurturing strong business partnerships.
•  Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
•  Must reside in the Los Angeles area.
•  Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift and carry at least 55 pounds frequently. Must be able to walk, sit, bend, twist, and/or stand for long periods of time. Travel requirements: Must be able to travel away from home on an as-needed basis and up to 10% out of territory. Must be insurable by the company’s insurance provider.

COMPENSATION:
$115,000 - $125,000 /yr
Individual offers are made contingent upon a candidate's prior experience and education level as they relate to the role. Job offers are contingent upon successfully passing pre-employment screenings, which include a standard 8-panel drug test and a comprehensive background check.
